Two explorers meet, Damien and Sylvain... The idea for 1492 was born from the need to understand what's happening in Google Discover feeds. Named after the historic year of Columbus's voyage, 1492.Vision embodies the spirit of exploration and discovery.
After months of development, 1492 was officially launched. A still limited interface, but a focus on data quality and capturing real Google Discover feeds.
Search and analysis in our database, multi-domain comparison, content analysis, visibility trends, article performance, categorization, extraction of significant ngrams and entities. Most of the effort went into the demanding infrastructure and capture reliability.
Addition of entering and leaving domains, providing key insights into algorithm changes. Integration of named entities at the core of our data, giving access to live trends, presented during a Trikaya livestream: a key feature, acclaimed by clients.
Our first alerts on X.com movements, foreshadowing the shift toward creators that would make headlines months later... Also our "Entities everywhere" conference at the FepSem trade show in Marseille, where we unveiled many insights from our R&D.
